Startup of the Week - Beer52

by Startacus Admin
Let’s face it - there has never been a better time to drink beer - mainly because of the plethora of independent and artisan breweries which have sprung up throughout the world over the last few years. Since it would appear that the trend for craft beer is well and truly here to stay, you’ll understand why we think that our latest Startup of the Week is on to a surefire winner.
Beer52 is a Craft Beer Discovery Club which enables you to taste new and exciting craft beers all from the comfort of your own home.
Here’s how it works:
Beer52 have a team of beer experts who visit microbreweries all over the world on a mission to find the most interesting and quality brews. (It’s a tough job - but somebody’s got to do it!) Those experts then select their favourite beers and if you subscribe to the service and join their discovery club you will receive a box every month containing 8 of their faves. Not only that, but you’ll also receive a Meet the Brewers booklet which will give you more info about the beers and of course the people behind them. All this for just £3 a beer!
The great thing about subscription services like this is not just that they offer choice and convenience but also that they are helping independent breweries to survive and grow.
And for that reason alone - we’re loving their work!
One final thing - a little excerpt from the Beer52 Manifesto:
Free yourself from big beer brand slavery.
Enliven your beer fridge.
Send your tastebuds on the ultimate craft beer road trip.
How could you refuse that!!!
