Startup Launchpad Pitch Competition

by Startacus Admin
Innovation is coming thick and fast within the app ecosystem at the moment, perhaps at a faster rate than ever before.
Wonderful news for everyone of course, but for the enterprising developer / tech startup founder it also means that making yourself heard and getting your innovation noticed by the right people, can sometimes seem like a Herculean challenge.
Over the past number of years we have borne witness to both app success stories, and failures and one thing which has struck us as obviously tantamount to prosperity within this field is the mindset of the individual at the helm of the business. To hold your own in this relentlessly fast-moving age you must be prepared to reach out and take the opportunities for exposure and growth which come your way.
Opportunities like this one!
Apps World Startup Launchpad
This week we have been taking a look at Apps World, the leading global multi-platform event within the app industry. This year’s Europe event will be taking place at ExCeL in London on the 18th and 19th of November and will include a rather exciting Startup pitch competition called the Startup Launchpad.
Specifically created for startups working within the app space, the Startup Launchpad will give 8 startups the chance to pitch their product in front of a panel of experts and leading lights from the technology and digital spheres. Not only will the participating startups gain immense experience of pitching their work to the figureheads of their industry, but they will also be given priceless advice and the opportunity to secure investment and move their business to the next level.
Those who are not selected to be one of the lucky eight will nonetheless be in with a chance to win a startup pod on the Apps World expo floor, which will give them an amazing stage from which to showcase their product to over 10,000 attendees.
How to Apply for Startup Launchpad
If you would like to be considered to take part in the Apps World Startup Launchpad, you can make an application over here.
But before you do, make sure that your startup meets all of the relevant criteria, which are;
- It must be within the BETA testing prototype phase and must have a working product.
- The idea must have been launched within the last 12 months
- The company must have less than 5 employees
- The business must not have acquired a significant level of investment, or raised substantial capital
- All pitches must be completed in English as this is the language of the panel.
Sound like the competition for you? Pop yourself over the Apps World page to learn more!
Best of luck to all and fingers crossed we can get a member of the Startacus community in there!
