Startup in Residence 2014

by Startacus Admin
Got big plans for your startup in 2014?
If so, this recently launched comp from Dell is certainly worth a look.
The competition will see 2 companies being given the opportunity to base themselves at Dell’s UK Head office in Thames Valley from April 2014 and to become a Startup in Residence. The benefits of that? Well, for a start there will be dedicated work space for up to 10 employees, access to Dell’s onsite facilities and access to countless technology solutions that could really help accelerate business growth. Add to that the fact that there will be numerous networking events and dedicated mentoring support and you can see why this is an opp not to be missed.
UK based entrepreneurs at all stages of growth are eligible to apply and simply have from now until Feb 14th to complete the online form and submit a short 2 minute video outlining how and why technology is essential for their business growth.
Dell have even given a few tips and hints on what the judges will be looking for - namely:
- a demonstration of entrepreneurial spirit
- success - both past success and also potential future success
- evidence of how technology can really have an impact on stimulating business growth
- real personality and a positive persona
If you think that sounds like you, then it’s time to get applying! Applications must be submitted directly via the Dell site and as you’d expect you’ll also find all the detailed T’s and C’s in that very same place.
Good luck to all who enter!
