by Startacus Admin
Fancy yourself as the founder of the next Instagram or Facebook?
With a prize of £1,000,000 investment, Digital Shoreditch, have raised the Startup Competition bar, with their aim to create a £100 million company, based in London. The competition aptly named Million Pound Startup launched 10th July and runs until 1st May 2013.Apart from the initial promo video for this Startup Competition, which is soooo bad, this Startup Competition has grand intentions. With a Global target audience and a commitment to base the startup HQ in London, if you have fancy plans and can justify a £1,000,000 investment to show a potential £100 million return, then this might be a competition for you.
The competition is open to anyone over the age of 18 from anywhere in the world and has a few rules....
- The idea / product / startup has to be less than 10 years old
- It should not have turned over the equivalant of £1,000,000 (i.e. it has never made a Million pounds in revenue
- The winner is willing to re-locate the startup’s HQ to London
Wishing anyone who applies for this one the very best. Startacus might pass on this one - too much money might make us lazy!
