On the 28th of May our friends over at Hatch Incubator are hosting a great new day of support and learning for the next generation of mission-driven Startups in London!
Startup Brixton will be a packed 1-day event in centre of Brixton where all budding entrepreneurs, mission driven startups, support organisations and the local community can learn, share, and connect with each other and the support that can help them to achieve their aspirations!
Hatch Incubator holds the distinguished title of London’s only dedicated community enterprise incubator. Over the past few years they have done great work in supporting local social entrepreneurs and early-stage ventures and have raised over £500,000 in funding to grow and develop their substantial ecosystem of support, which has so far helped over 100 entrepreneurs and 60 startups.
As a continuation of their work, the Startup Brixton event will be a day of inspiration, and sharing of the latest startup trends with 5 dedicated areas providing a range of learning opportunities including workshops, motivational speakers, forums, and discussions.
The 5 areas are:
Learning Area- including workshops and sessions covering ‘the startup essentials’
Inspiration Area- including motivational speakers and forum discussions
Market Place- including stalls from Hatch partners and alumni of the incubator
Startup Surgery- offering startup Advice and one-to- one sessions
Dragon’s Den- giving startups the opportunity to pitch to a panel of friendly dragons for the chance to get investment.
