Then Crossover Edinburgh’s Product Forge Hackathon weekend could be just the thing for you, and as an extra treat we’ve managed to nab Startacus members a £10 discount on the £45 weekend ticket price… marvelous!
So what is the Product Forge Hackathon?
Well, it's an exciting weekend-long event that packs in design, innovation and development to prototype a number of new learning technology products. Its a collaborative effort that will give lots of networking opportunities as well as the chance to develop and hone your skills. Teams will develop their product and create a prototype- the team that comes up with the best product will secure support and cash investment from Insight Arcade to help bring their product to market.
There will also be round the clock mentoring from leading industry mentors and of course all meals and drinks are provided.
Who should attend?
There is absolutely no minimum level of qualification or experience required to take part, all you need is a keen interest in learning and development, technology and entrepreneurship and of course the desire to work as part of a team towards creating a brand spanking new product.
So whether you have a great idea you are itching to develop or you would simply like to meet new people and developing your skills the product forge hackathon could well be a great option for you!
When, where and how to get tickets
The event is taking place at Assembly Roxy just off South Bridge in Edinburgh from 6pm Friday 6th June to 9pm Sunday 8th June. To secure your ticket just follow these simple steps;
- Go to the event page
- Click on the ‘Enter a Code’ link
- Type in STARTACUS and click Apply
- A discounted ticket will appear, select it and click Register
- Complete the registration
