Startacus and Hatch Enterprise celebrate International Women’s Day by partnering with NetMinds to bring together female founders for a virtual speed networking event...
For female founders everywhere, the power of networking can’t be underestimated. Having the opportunity to connect, engage and share stories can be hugely empowering. From giving and getting support, through to building valuable connections outside of your own ecosystem, whilst inspiring others and being inspired. And although in-person networking might not be taking place right now, the virtual world is opening up huge opportunities.
Step forward Startacus and Hatch Enterprise who, on International Women’s Day will be bringing together female founders from their respective programmes as well as a cohort of other female entrepreneurs to take part in an online speed networking event.
Running 6pm - 7.15pm, the invite-only 8th March event will see the founders taking part in a series of short randomized networking sessions, with other like-minded female entrepreneurs. In addition, a couple of secret female mentors will also join the sessions.
Each attendee will take part in 7 random speed networking sessions, giving them the opportunity to make new connections, explain their businesses, practice their elevator pitches and offer up advice and lessons that they have learned on their business journeys to date.
The virtual event, taking place on Zoom, is being powered by NetMinds, a startup that developed a technology to facilitate knowledge sharing in entrepreneurial communities.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to be connected with other participating female founders after the event via the NetMinds system which matches founders to relevant connections, according to their startup stage and needs.
If you are a female founder or a lead on a female founder programme and you’d like to take part, email alastair@startacus.net to receive your invite.Spaces are limited and a maximum of 70 attendees will be offered the opportunity to take part.
