Sport Tech Hub by London Sport launch new podcast series: Talking Sport & Tech

New podcast launched by Sport Tech Hub aims to share insights and inspiration from leaders and tech entrepreneurs in the sport and physical activity sector.
Sport Tech Hub, established by London Sport, are thrilled to announce their new podcast series, Talking Sport & Tech.
Talking Sport & Tech will give listeners a glimpse into the lives of inspiring leaders and technology entrepreneurs in the sport and physical activity sector.
Hosted by Milly Pelmore and Alex Zurita from Sport Tech Hub by London Sport, the series will explore the careers and life stories of these leaders, share advice and learnings from their journeys to-date, and discuss the role of technology as a tool to increase physical activity levels in London and beyond.
Huw Edwards, CEO of ukactive, the not-for-profit health body which exists to get people more active, will be the inaugural guest on Talking Sport & Tech with the first episode launching on May 18.
In the opening episode, Alex and Milly chat to Huw about how his career to-date has been a marriage of politics and sport and how he’s pushing the government for political will behind the sport and physical activity sector.
Over the next six weeks, listeners will also get to hear from Born Barikor (CEO and Founder of Our Parks), Lisa Wainwright (CEO of Sport Recreation Alliance), Baz Moffat (Co-Founder of The Well HQ), Hana Sutch (Co-Founder and CEO of Go Jauntly) and Tim Hollingsworth (CEO of Sport England).
Alex Zurita, Head of Sport Tech Hub by London Sport, said: “It has been an incredible experience recording the first ever podcast launched by London Sport. Each episode is a fascinating insight into the minds of our wonderful guests who were incredibly open about their experiences.
“We’re really excited to share this series and hopefully motivate the sport and physical activity sector, as well as entrepreneurs creating sport technology products, into pushing the sector further and helping more people get active.”
