Spontivity - Live like you mean it

by Startacus Admin
We’re always looking for more ways to connect with each other, especially in this digital age of social networking. With everyone being connected it can get pretty hectic, and getting lost just as easy as navigating the London underground. Here we speak to Collaborators Spontivity, about their impressive new format for connecting with the world around you.
Hi Guys! Right off the bat, why not tell us, what exactly is Spontivity?
Spontivity is an iOS app coming to your iPhone in early 2015. Whether you think, play, or do - Spontivity instantly connects you with others in your area. With Spontivity, you can post, browse, and join all your favorite activities in a matter of seconds.
What inspired you to come up with this platform?
Everyone here at Spontivity believes in living life, and the best way to live life is through doing. It baffled us that we had so many people to reach out to through social media yet when we wanted to do our favorite activities our friends always had an excuse. We didn't want to be limited anymore. Why not open your invite list to everyone around you to ensure you get to do what you want when you want.
We can relate to that! So, how have you found development?
We've teamed up with a development firm from Manhattan named Worry Free Labs. They've been great to work with so far. We’re extremely excited to show off their great work!
Great to hear that it’s going well, how are you funding the whole endeavour?
Yes, we are fully funded by an amazing investor devoted to making Spontivity a success. We’re extremely focused into bringing Spontivity to everyone’s iPhone in 2015.
That’s fantastic! Having a time frame like that is beneficial; what are your long term goals?
You've got to have goals, but you have to take everything one step at a time. Our first goal is to finish Spontivity for our public beta in early 2015. After achieving our launch goals we are focusing on expanding rapidly.
This could make the life of a journalist a lot easier; was that your original goal?
Simply solve the problem we experienced way too often. We wanted to develop a way to find others to join us in our favorite activity at the exact time we wanted. Spontivity wasn't developed to make money, it was developed to help you to live life like you mean it.
How would you define the success of this platform?
Spontivity’s success is directly related to how successfully it can solve your problem of finding something to do & then find someone else to join you in that activity. Christopher McCandless probably said it best: “Happiness is only real when shared.”
That’s a great sentiment to end on, so if you’d like to check out or get in touch with the team behind Spontivity;
