Sodexo Live! And L Marks Seeking Startups and Scaleups for first ever North America Innovation Lab

by Startacus Admin
Sodexo Live! and L Marks open call for applications from innovative startups and scaleups to join their inaugural North America Innovation Lab.
Startup or scaleup with an innovative solution that could benefit the hospitality sector? This is for you!
Sodexo Live!, the leading hospitality partner to some of the world’s most iconic venues, has joined forces with innovation specialists L Marks to launch the Sodexo Live! Accelerator for North America, the first program of its kind in the region.
Sodexo’s Accelerator innovation program has already been successful in China, Brazil, India, France and Sweden, and most recently the company partnered with L Marks on a successful accelerator program in the UK and Ireland. The expansion of the program to North America is therefore a clear indication of its inherent commitment to innovation.
The Sodexo Live! Accelerator will provide participating startups and scaleups with the opportunity to work closely with industry-leading mentors, subject-matter experts and business leaders over a 10-week period in order to trial and fine-tune their solutions in a live customer environment. They will be able to test their future-facing solution at some of the world’s most exciting venues - from sports venues and aquariums, through to museums and conference centres.
For this program, they are specifically seeking startups and scaleups that are innovating in one of the following key focus areas:
Service Excellence
-
This is aimed at finding solutions related to internal staffing requirements, from helping to attract the best talent and provide consistent training through to innovative ways to support with staff retention
Guest and Fan Experience
-
Within this category, the focus is on innovative solutions that can help Sodexo Live! deliver a better experience to guests - from improving the personalization of event experiences, the digitization of touchpoints through to ease of service and sustainability practices.
Operational Optimization
-
Innovations that can help the company improve its internal operations are the focus here; from solutions to help improve cross-venue interoperability and how it uses public and transactional data to provide a better guest experience, through to new ways of optimizing spaces on days without events.
Wildcard
-
Since Sodexo Live! works across many sectors of the live entertainment industry, for this Wildcard category, they are interested in innovative out-of-the-box solutions that could help improve any aspect of the service they provide to their extensive array of clients, venue partners and guests.
Applications are now open and must be submitted by September 12, 2022. Shortlisted startups will then be invited to pitch their innovative solutions to Sodexo Live! management in mid-October. Following this, successful startups will commence the 10-week programme and avail of the opportunity to fine-tune their innovative solutions in a live environment.
Further info on the program, the process and the benefits of taking part can be found on the Sodexo Live! site.
Best of luck to all who apply!
