Small Business Saturday is back!

by Startacus Admin
Small Business Saturday, which will take place this year on December 6th, encourages consumers to “shop local” and support their local communities, as well as giving small businesses a fab opportunity for visibility and promotion. Last year's Small Business Saturday was a great success and this year promises to build on that success.
It may still seem a long way away, but the search for this year’s Small Business Saturday 100 has already begun, meaning that one small business each day will be featured on a variety of social media channels leading up to December 6th.
If you fancy getting involved yourself you’ve got a few weeks left to do just that. Here’s how:
Simply email smallbiz100@smallbusinesssaturdayuk.comwith the subject heading 'Small Business 100' and outline:
1. Your business’ name - what you do and where you are based
2. A pic of you in your business
3. What you plan to do this year in order to make the most of Small Business Saturday for your business and your community
4. A video of you speaking about your your business and why you support the Small Business Saturday initiative - don’t worry though - professional quality productions aren’t essential
5. Details of your website(s) and Facebook and/or Twitter accounts
All entries must be in by 31st July and the winners will be anounced by late August. Not long to go then!
Why not check out the Small Business Saturday site for more details and if you decide to apply? Well...the best of luck from the Startacus team to you!
