Six real estate focused startups showcase at RElab Demo Day

by Startacus Admin

Six real estate focused startups from around the world took to the stage to showcase their innovation solutions at the inaugural RElab Demo Day, a programme launched by leading real estate tech investment firm, Goldacre.
On 17 January, 2019, RElab held its inaugural Demo Day in London. The first cohort of six international startups showcased their innovation solutions and roadmaps to an enthusiastic audience of investors and key players in the smart real estate, retail, logistics, construction and automotive industries. Presentations were followed by an interactive networking event where product demos and more in-depth conversations took place.
Demo Day marks the culmination of RElab’s first accelerator programme. Throughout a 12-week programme, the cohort have worked closely with industry partners and mentors on product market validation, leading to pilots and commercial engagements. In parallel, participants benefitted from intensive business mentorship, a curated programme of seminars and workshops as well as a series of industry and tech-related roundtables with some of the most innovative corporates and investors in the space.
RElab is supported by an exceptional network of partners and mentors including industry partners Capreon, JCA, Knight Frank, Lee Baron, LiFE Ventures, Lockton, Rimstock, Savills and Stuart. The programme is being run in collaboration with L Marks, a corporate innovation specialist and early stage investor.
The 6 real estate focused startups presenting compelling solutions for commercial markets were:
Aitonomi-TeleRetail “AutoPilot Software for self-driving transport robots”
Aitonomi TeleRetail automates industrial, urban and rural last mile logistics with its Autopilot Software “Aito” for self-driving transporters. The company’s award-winning “Aito” AutoPilot Software drives autonomous vehicles of almost any size. Aitonomi TeleRetail reduces logistics costs by up to 90% - while enabling cost-efficient 24/7 on-demand transport services.
Limitless Insights “The location intelligence platform delivering Google analytics for physical spaces”
Limitless’ ‘Location Intelligence Platform’ delivers location-based offers directly to the customer’s phone live in-store. Using customer & business insights (Mi), the company delivers personal relevant communications through a proprietary recommendation engine influencing the shopping journey at the moment of purchase. Limitless’ solution is delivered as an enterprise software layer harnessing the existing Wi-Fi infrastructure in store.
ShapeDo “Eliminating unmanaged change in construction”
ShapeDo has developed a Software-as-a-Service platform for design change management in construction projects. Using proprietary image recognition technology, ShapeDo allows teams to review changes in real-time and leverages controls and communications tools to eliminate unmanaged change, increase profits and avoid disputes.
Spaceti “Making Your Property Digital”
Spaceti has developed an all-in-one solution for the real estate and facility management industry, with the aim of enhancing the satisfaction, productivity, and well-being of building occupiers while improving the bottom line for organisations. Spaceti addresses efficiency and effectiveness challenges faced by tenants and landlords: lack of reliable data to improve operations and take key decisions; high expenses due to inefficiencies related to poor property management; and inadequate indoor environments for smart, flexible workspace.
SwiftGo “Eliminating in-store checkout lines while controlling shrinkage”
SwiftGo has developed a white-labelled Software-as-a-Service (“SaaS”) platform combined with an optional hardware shrinkage control module enabling retailers to offer a seamless shopping experience centred around a self-checkout solution. SwiftGo’s technology addresses retailers’ concerns relating to shrinkage and offers them a channel to communicate with shoppers and to gain relevant insights about them. The SaaS platform and hardware shrinkage control module are independent of each other but work together seamlessly.
WiTraC (ES): “Track & Trace for Industry 4.0”
WiTraC has developed a wireless real-time location (indoor & outdoor) and tracking system based on smart sensors and Internet of Things technology. WiTraC enables customers to capture the precise location of assets as well as to monitor and control devices (e.g. sensors) wirelessly.
