Showcase your startup and win advertising space on Startacus

by Startacus Admin
Advertising your startup or your business venture can be a costly affair. Likewise showcasing your startup and telling the whole world about your big (or small) idea, project or startup can be tough going, especially when for the time being you are a small fish in a rather large startup pond.
Helping with these issues has always been a key goal of us here at Startacus - offering a space and a platform to both tell others what you are up to and to make sure that you can be connected to the right people and places too that can help take your business forward. And so with the return of this month’s competition to win free advertising space on Startacus we reckon we’re going a little way to help.
So far this year, Ben Lattimore of London Startup he.wo.co and Jay Boolkin of Australian startup Promise or Pay have won a 200x200 sidebar advertising space on Startacus for one whole month to advertise thier business. And so we thought let’s do it all again! So, one lucky self starter will win a 200x200 sidebar space on all our culture, community and collaboration pages. If you’re the luck winner, you’ll get:
- Free exposure to an interested community of fellow self starters in a 200x200 size advert on the Startacus site!
- The chance to advertise your product or service and get fellow self starters to click on that all important advertising link
- To do all that on the growing and respected platform that is Startacus! (Subtle self-promotion done!)
How do you enter?
- All you have to do is be a registered member of Startacus (it’s free to join you know!)
- You need to add your startup or business into our growing collaboration space where a good number of folk are already showcasing their ideas, projects and startups
- Tweet us that you would like to win the Advertising space
- No twitter? Just email us at iam@startacus.net
Rules? There ain’t no rules….Well, maybe just a few…
- We want to award a self starter who is at the stage of properly selling or promoting their product or service
- We ideally want to award those self starters whose ideas are still in ongoing development or startup stage. If you’re part of a business with a headcount of 100 and £3 million turnover, this is perhaps not the comp for you. But, if you’ve started trading and been around for a year or two, well...we’ll consider you on your own merit. Final. Decision. Ours.
- Any Startacus member can apply - irrespective of where they live.
- You do have to be a Startacus member to join in.
Interested? Simply make your case between Monday 28th July and - Monday 18th August. The winner will be announced on Tuesday 19th August and the advertising space will be available for the entire month of August 2014.
Also, if you have already entered your idea, project or startup into our collaboration space - don’t add again, just simply email or tweet us that you would like to be considered!
So good luck Startacus folk! Of course, if you are not already a signed up member, you’ve nearly two weeks to sign up, so get on it...like...now!
