Shopify Build-A-Business Competition

by Startacus Admin
Got an idea for something that you’d like to sell online? Well, we reckon it’s time to make that idea a reality! Not just because we’re kinda obsessed with self starters and people doing their own thing, but also because leading eCommerce platform Shopify have just launched their latest Build-A-Business competition so the timing is perfect!
Here’s how it works:
First of all, identify what product(s) you’d like to sell, open a Shopify store and then select a relevant category. The categories in question are Fashion & Apparel, Electronics & Gadgets, Art, Jewellery & Crafts and our personal fave “Everything Else”. Yep - they have all bases covered!
The next bit is what really matters. Selling!
All entrants will have their sales monitored during the course of the comp and the 5 top sellers over a 2 month period will receive a phenomenal prize - the opportunity to fly via private jet to Richard Branson’s Necker Island for a 5 day adventure - filled with exploration, mentorship and of course professional growth.
Apart from Sir Richard Branson, other mentors this year include Tim Ferriss, Daymond John, Marie Forleo and Seth Godin. Pretty impressive bunch then!
We reckon it’s a once in a lifetime opportunity so if eCommerce is your thing, you need to get on it before the closing date of May 31st 2015.
Simply enter the comp by opening your own Shopify store and then get those sales on the board!
And just in case you need a little extra encouragement, simply check out the video below:

Best of luck to any of you who enter - we’ll be rooting for ya!
