Self starter launches new mobile game

by Startacus Admin
It’s shaping up to be quite a good little week for Startacus member Josh Newton. On Monday he was named as the recipient of this week’s Startacus self starter award (round of applause if you please) and now he has some more really exciting news.
Yesterday, his brilliant new game Nova’s Dream was launched on the Apple app store, the first game to be released from his app company Appso. Fantastic news indeed, but some of you may be thinking to yourselves “Why are the Startacus guys making such a fuss about the launch of a game? Surely there are dozens if not hundreds of games launched every day on the app store...what makes this one so special?”
Well, as it happens there is an inspiring tale that goes along with this app which we feel makes it a great little story to share. You see, one week before Josh’s 6th birthday he was involved in a freak accident in which he sustained a severe trauma to the head - he nearly died and was left permanently scarred. Josh knows that he is lucky to be alive and has for a long time harboured a dream to make an Inspiring difference in the world.
“Life is too short” says Josh “I want to show people of all ages that anything you want to achieve is possible with the right mindset”.
This is where his first app/game release comes in. Nova’s dream is a beautiful new one tap, physics based arcade game about a little pink blob thing (we aren’t entirely sure what he is yet) called Nova who is reaching for the stars… literally! Yes - little Nova has a dream to get to space…an unlikely conquest for this marshmallow-like hero but he manages it and is faced with all manner of tricky situations which make for level upon level of entertaining, addictive and fun mobile gaming.
Why not pop on over to the app store and try the game for yourself ? Or get more information by clicking one of these:
