Seedrs announced as Major Sponsor for upSTART 18 at Digital DNA

Seedrs, the leading UK-based equity crowdfunding platform that lets anyone invest in startups, has today been announced as Major Sponsor to upSTART 18 the startup pitch competition that takes place at Digital DNA, Belfast on the 19th and 20th June.

With around 25 startups pitching on Day Two of the upSTART event, and a startup showcasing and networking agenda over the two days that allows for collaboration and valuable conversations to happen, Seedrs is the perfect partner for upSTART and all the startup focused activity that will occur.

upSTART is organised and hosted by leading UK startup platform Startacus (that’s us) who over the last three years, have partnered with Digital DNA to create a leading pitch competition, that has become an integral part of the two-day business and technology event.
The pitch competition will play out over two rounds, starting with approx 25 disruptive startups, before culminating with one winner who will walk away with a £5k cash prize and a host of other prizes.
Applications for UK, Irish and European wide startups to apply to pitch at upSTART 18 at Digital DNA are open until Friday 25th May, with the first startups for the event being shortlisted this week.
