Scoro - work management made easy

The lowdown on Scoro, the software that helps businesses to streamline projects, automate quoting and billing, optimize utilization and more besides...
We have written recently about how many different tools people have to use when sitting down to work - from live chat apps to communicate with the rest of the team, to file sharing platforms, to shift reporting, all before the tools you’re actually doing the work in are even opened - and the push from various startups to consolidate all of these into one place.
Cutting down on the number of windows and browser tabs sitting open on your desktop not only decreases the clutter and makes you feel a little less harried, but also can increase productivity and cut down on wasted shift time.
Estonian startup Scoro is one such startup, with its work management platform to, as they put it, streamline projects, automate quoting and billing, optimize utilization, and more.
Scoro pulls everything together into one place, allowing you to track everything you need to see, manage your time figuratively and literally with the Gantt chart and planner, see an overview of exactly what your time translates to in monetary terms so that you can prioritise with ease, and of course integrate all of the other tools that you use, like email, Dropbox, cloud drives, and more than 1,000 other tools. With all of this, Scoro says that even a team of only 5 can save 100 hours per month by using their platform.
In March, Scoro closed a Series B funding round with an impressive $16.4 million. Led by Kennet Partners, with Tera Ventures, Inventure, Columbia Lake Partners, and Livonia Partners, the round also brought them a new member of the board of directors in Kennet Partners’ own Managing Director. This funding will be used in part to further Scoro’s expansion into the US, Asia-Pacific, France, and Spain.
Even before the pandemic, our method of tools scattered all over our desktops and phones was detrimental to our productivity and could lead to data loss, but now so many of us are working from home, physically cut off from our teams, a platform like Scoro is more important and useful than ever.
