School for Creative Startups - Open Call

by Startacus Admin
Our friends at School for Creative Startups are on the hunt for their next cohort of fab and talented creative entrepreneurs. So if you've got a creative skill or idea, but the business part gives you the heebie jeebies, then this call out might just be for you.
Let’s start with a little explanation. The aforementioned "fab and talented creative entrepreneurs" is gathered from our own first hand experience and observation. We recently had the pleasure of attending the School for Creative Startups Makegood festival where a multitude of fab S4CS startups were showcasing. Since then we've featured a number of S4CS "graduates" - people like Russell Carley of Bodopods, Roz Ware from creative startup The People's Stories and of course startups iamadventures and iamsociable.
But we digress - back to the call out! There is an open call at the moment for School for Creative Startups entrants for the 2014/15 year. The S4CS folk are looking for 100 impressive creative startups or aspiring entrepreneurs to join their next programme starting in September, where you'll be tooled with all the knowledge and skills you’ll need to take your creative startup to the next level. Interested in applying? You can find out all the details, the small print and all that stuff on the S4CS site.
With locations in London and Sheffield and more coming soon and applications now open for the School for Startups 6 week free South West Peninsula Programme course it seems like our friends over at School for Startups will be pretty busy over the next while. And if you’re lucky enough to be selected to join their School, you’ll be pretty busy too! Good luck!
Also - one more thing while we’re on the case - School for Startups also offer seed funding in the form of Government backed Start Up Loans with a year of free round-the-clock support and mentoring in a community of other budding entrepreneurs. If you go on to apply for the Government backed Start Up Loans do tell School for Startups where you heard about them (i.e. Startacus) - you’ll be doing your bit to help spread the word about Startacus by doing just that!
