Scale Front - the portfolio startup

by Startacus Admin
The work of incubators and accelerator programmes and their impact on startup businesses is well documented. However there is now a new player in the game - the “portfolio startup”. One such of these is Dublin’s recently launched Scale Front.
Scale Front aims to be a company that builds startups from scratch. Founded by two serial entrepreneurs, Sean Blanchfield and Brian McDonnell, the company already has 3 startups up and running. The key objective of the company is to create and spin-out a “continuous flow of proven high-value startups” - a pretty impressive and worthy aim, it has to be said.
The company is already drawing comparisons with the likes of New York’s Betaworks which surely can only be a good thing.
The Scale Front team have expertise in diverse areas including Web Apps, Lean Startup Strategy, Scalability and Gamification.
If you have an idea that you feel could do with a helping hand from the Scale Front experts then they’re waiting to hear it!
If you're aware of any other businesses or initiatives that are being set up with similar worthy aims, then we want to know about them. Share your knowledge with us over at the forum or simply email us to editorial@startacus.net. Don't keep all the good stuff to yourself!
