Ronspot - the 3-in-1 flexible space management platform

by Startacus Admin
Business owner or office manager? Ronspot is a Galway-based startup that has developed an innovative desk, parking and meeting room booking system that you're bound to love.
The number of people working from home might have risen considerably since lockdowns began, but that doesn’t mean people don’t still need to head into the office some days. In some ways, the increase in hybrid working has made office management more complicated. Whether it’s an issue of finding a parking space for those days in the office or rushing in the door just in time for your meeting only to find that someone has gone in ahead of you and left their stuff on that desk you still consider to be yours, things can’t be left to work themselves out in the same ways they used to. This is where space management comes in.
Galway-based startup Ronspot has developed a 3-in-1 flexible space management platform that covers 3 specific areas of office working: parking, desk space, and meeting rooms. With the app, you can easily book a parking space to ensure you get rained on less than your colleagues, book that desk by the window with the perfect view into the bakery, and book a meeting room so you don’t have to charm your new client in the stationery cupboard.
The app is easy to use, and you can quickly and easily view the attributes of individual parking spots and desks, book specific spots and desks, set up recurring bookings, sync your bookings with your calendar, cancel, etc. This not only makes hybrid working easier to manage, but cuts down on the little stresses that we shouldn’t need to think about before we even start work, and it even helps the company to save some money in the process.
In September, Ronspot announced that they had raised €1.1 million in funding in a round led by Furthr VC, with participation from the Halo Business Angel Network and Enterprise Ireland. With this funding, the startup is looking at global expansion.
