Product Guru - product discovery made easy

by Startacus Admin
Product Guru is a product discovery platform that's helping buyers from consumer goods & gift
companies to discover unique & innovative new products.
Getting your products in front of retailers can be difficult and even pricey, making it harder to break even when you do. Retailers have buyers actively searching for new products to stock, so it makes sense to have somewhere for those buyers to look for exactly the kind of stock they want and the suppliers to display the products they need to find a home for.
That somewhere is Product Guru.
Product Guru is a product discovery platform for suppliers to list products in various categories including food & drink, household, health, beauty & personal care, stationery, garden, electrical & gadget, and toys. These are showcased to buyers who are searching the site with filters in place, meaning that if they encounter your products, it is because they are specifically looking for them, cutting down on false leads. The platform includes a messaging feature so that buyers can communicate directly with you to exchange information and provide updates.
Suppliers create their product pages using easy templates with a wide variety of key details that can be switched on or off where relevant, and it is all kept together on a personalised brand homepage, making it easy to keep track of everything and take necessary action.
Product Guru’s ‘Retail Ready’ feature adds a badge to your products when you choose their verification programme. This is a set of extensive checks based on the requirements of the platform’s major retail partners, verifying that you have provided all information critical to these retail partners, as well as verifying key business information such as insurance cover and certifications, giving them peace of mind that on-boarding your company and products will be quick and painless. Equally, only fully vetted retailers are able to see the supplier’s products.
Product Guru has been shortlisted for Startup of the Year at the Tech. AWARDS - part of London’s Retail Week, and it’s not surprising. A free platform for suppliers to easily put their products in from of the right buyers for some of the UK’s biggest retailers is one of those things that makes you wonder how this hasn’t always been a thing. We’re sold!
