Postoplan - social media marketing made easy

by Startacus Admin
The lowdown on Postoplan, the Estonian-based startup that uses AI to help save you time and optimise your social media management
Social media is time consuming. And not just sitting there scrolling through memes and news and adverts; anyone who has used social media for more than sharing the odd picture of their cat, to actually try to build an audience and get your content in front of as many eyes as possible, will know that the process of creating and scheduling posts throughout the day, every day, just eats away at your time.
It’s why a social media manager is a job all to itself. But not every small business or solo entrepreneur is able to hire someone specifically to take care of their social media, and so they turn to platforms that help with this scheduling.
Estonian SaaS startup Postoplan has developed one of these platforms, using AI to power marketing automation on social media, simplify post creation, and of course, schedule posts.
The first important thing to note about Postoplan is that it operates a ‘freemium’ model, allowing users to take advantage of its powerful platform for free, with additional features or increased content at a price. For example, you can’t add more than one photo to a post with the free version, you can schedule no further than 7 days ahead, and you can’t link Instagram or WhatsApp accounts. But none of the restrictions on the free version are particularly prohibitive, and the platform still makes for a powerful tool to aid with your social media management.
From Postoplan’s dashboard, you can manage all of your social media platforms, and if you are just posting content to remind people you exist - rather than announcing a product launch, for example - the startup has hundreds of suggestions for posts with hooks to encourage new followers. The AI will let you know the best time of day to post your content in order to reach the most people and expand your audience, as well as providing you with a quick and simple interface for putting together a good-looking, eye-catching post with minimal effort and time.
The startup says that 55% of their customers have reported up to a 70% increase in their audience within the first months of moving over to the platform and, coming soon, paid versions will include built-in, AI-powered advertising for quicker growth.
In July, Postoplan announced that they had raised $1.5 million in a round led by TMT Investments. The startup already has over 100,000 companies and individuals using the platform from 147 countries, in 16 languages, and this funding will go towards expanding in the US.
Just imagine how much more time we’ll have for making coffee!
