PixelMax - hybrid working that works!

by Startacus Admin
The lowdown on PixelMax, the Manchester-based startup that's created an innovative virtual workplace solution that enables productivity, creativity and connectivity.
The pandemic has given rise to many startups looking for ways to keep collaboration among remote-working colleagues easy and productive, as well as providing tools to make things easier all round. Just recently, we have written about Tangle’s fun remote collaboration platform and Sona’s employee app that goes beyond just the changes that the pandemic has caused. Communication among colleagues is vital, so it’s no wonder so many businesses are tackling the issue of stilted and awkward interaction between colleagues used to something more face-to-face.
Manchester-based startup PixelMax is the most recent to come to our attention, with its platform for hosting a virtual workplace. Their “all-in-one bespoke solution enables productivity, creativity and connectivity”, they say.
With its Unified Comms, the goal is to stop you needing to use multiple tools. PixelMax brings you messaging, video calls and conferencing, voicemail, file sharing, cloud storage, attendance monitoring, white boarding, and much more in one place. With virtual events, you can bring an immersive digital world to your attendees, built from scratch or a replica of an existing venue. These venues can be filled with whatever you need, from stands and stalls, to stages and live speakers, to gamification areas, wellbeing areas, and communal spaces for networking.
PixelMax even allows you to create digital twins of your office or venue or construction site, helping you to visualise data pulled from numerous sources and providing actionable insights. Whether this is to get a better idea of a new construction as it is being built, and what changes might need to be made, or planning the best way to set up a physical event, or any number of other applications, it can all be done in the one platform.
The way we work is changing, even without the pandemic as a factor. If we are to benefit from these changes rather than letting them set us back as we slowly get used to them, we will need startups and platforms like PixelMax.
Changes in the world of work will be very much at the forefront of our upcoming Work: In Progress event - it's a hybrid affair so we'd love you to join us!
