Paypal for Instagram Influencers XPO Look Set for Bright Future

by Startacus Admin

Currently in private beta, XPO is a payment processing app that is aiming to allow small brands to have direct access to Instagram influencers, whilst at the same time, making it simple and secure to pay influencers.
“Influencer agencies have gotten away with underserving smaller brands for far too long” states Lotanna Ezeike, co-founder of XPO, a new and currently in privte

Currently pre-loaded with around 4000 influencer profiles, XPO will allow small brands to have direct access to Instagram influencers and allow small brands to contact and securely pay influencers within seconds. Aiming to debunk influencer agencies’ high prices and make influencer marketing more accessible to small brands in the UK, XPO will also allow influencers to receive requests and accept payments directly from small brands through XPO.
Marketers will be able to directly request promotions from influencers via XPO. Influencers will receive a notification of this. The influencer is given 24hours ax to respond. If the request is accepted the marketers gets charged and the money is held in an escrow account. Once both parties authenticate the request then the fund are released to the influencer.
XPO allows small brands to contact influencers by filtering through categories and engagement ratio. A user can then send a request to an influencer for a promotional campaign. Influencers respond in 24hrs guaranteed, so no need to wait for weeks for a response. XPO securely holds all payments until campaign criteria has been fulfilled by the influencer. Influencers use XPO to manage all business enquiries and are able to filter business from social through XPO.
Talking of influencers, the team behind XPO all graduated from SS Y-combinator and are under 23 years old. Lotanna Ezeike & Tomi Aiyeola met at University.
Tomi approached Lotanna in regards to a non-commercial peer-2-peer loan business Lotanna was looking to set up. However, Lotanna diverted attention towards XPO and in March 2018, Tomi and Lotanna's XPO journey began, with Franck Ndame, joining the team as Head Developer & UX/UI Designer.
With influencer marketing a booming industry and marketing channel, but with all the supportive tech systems and tools still perhaps catching up, we're expecting to hear more from this young, but very-on-point team and look forward to following the XPO journey as they edge closer to a public launch.
