Ownership - the next-gen approach to company formation

by Startacus Admin
Ownership is a London-based startup that has developed an innovative way to create and manage a company, team and equity.
Got a great idea for a business but the thought of actually starting a company is what’s putting you off? Help is now at hand, thanks to London-based startup Ownership and its innovative approach to starting a company.
Founders Naima Camara and Dom Vinyard have developed a new way to create next-generation companies for the next generation of founders. In essence, an Ownership company is “a new type of international legal entity with equity management and payroll built in.”
Every team member in an Ownership company is referred to as a contributor and logs the hours that they work. As those hours accumulate, the Ownership algorithm calculates the ownership and equity split in the company, based on what that person has contributed. So effectively, the more someone contributes, the more equity in the company they acquire.
It’s all pretty transparent too so everyone can see how much or how little other members are contributing.
Ownership also automatically generates an Al valuation and ownership-split of the company based on market rates. And when someone wants to exit, the shares can be sold for cash, or converted into tokens and traded on the blockchain. It provides fully automated, end-to-end company formation and management.
The founders’ vision to lower the barrier to entry, and to provide an environment for anyone with a great idea to make it a reality. Ownership has launched on iOS and Android and has started developing partnerships with accelerators. It’s a case of watching this space!
