Ouishare

by Startacus Admin
Interested in collaborating with others? You may wish to take a look at OuiShare - a non-profit and global community of entrepreneurs, designers, writers, economists and citizens working to accelerate the shift to a Collaborative Economy...
Whilst Startacus is aiming to get people together to help ‘make ideas more of a reality’, the thinking behind Ouishare is that it is a collaborative platform which highlights and promotes the developments of the collaborative economy across the globe.
Its’ goal is to connect the ecosystem of the collaborative economy and to explore and promote ideas, people and projects that contribute to the big transition to a new social and economic paradigm that is emerging right now, thanks to the internet.
Apart from the multilingual online platform there are a global network of localised hubs - in Paris, London, Berlin, Barcelona, Rome, Brussels. These all allow face to face networking and collaboration and thereby act as a catalyst for a more global collaborative economy.
Having started only a few years ago as a Facebook group, the strength and passion of the ‘crowd’ encouraged the Paris based Founders to develop more of an online and offline presence, and hence the online platform and the offline meetups developed.
Focusing on everything from co-working, crowdfunding, collaborative consumption, production and collaborative ideas, Ouishare highlights all the major developments and news stories that are potentially helping to shape and impact on both the collaborative movement and the economy as a whole.
We feel there is a definite synergy between Startacus and Ouishare since both platforms have similar aspirations and desires to inform and motivate change through inspirational content and articles and we look forward to hearing more about Ouishare as its’ platform develops.
That aside, we also love the Ouishare name, and its’ subtle nod to its’ French roots. All in all, we reckon that the Ouishare guys fully appreciate that whilst developing a more collaborative economy is serious business, there is still room to have a little fun along the way too....
