NI startups to showcase at Startup Week Dublin NI themed event

by Startacus Admin

Startup platform Startacus have announced they have been selected to organise and host a NI startup focused showcasing event & social at this year’s Startup Week Dublin.
Taking place between the 21st - 25th October, Techstars Startup Week Dublin powered by Dublin City Council, brings entrepreneurs, innovators, local leaders, and friends together over five days to build momentum and opportunity around Dublin’s unique entrepreneurial and innovative identity.
Held at Huckletree in Dublin, the Startacus powered NI startup themed evening event on Thursday 24th October, will include a panel discussion on startup collaboration between NI and ROI - the differences, challenges and similarities that exist and the opportunities to co-create, co-innovate and diversify the startup talent across the whole island of Ireland.
Based in Dublin (or elsewhere!) and would love to attend this event? - Book your ticket to attend here.
Startacus are delighted to offer 6 NI startups the opportunity to showcase their story at the event. Those selected will have some of their travel budget covered for travel costs covered by our sponsors RealTime Recruitment, Funds Axis and Raise Ventures.
6 NI tech startups who can demonstrate why the Dublin Startup Ecosystem would benefit them will be selected to join the stage to showcase their journey to the NI and Irish audience. Alastair Cameron, co-founder of Startacus explained:
“We are keen to make sure that NI startups look to their neighbouring ecosystems for inspiration, advice and opportunity. We are looking for NI startups to tell us why they should showcase at the event and why connecting with the Dublin Startup Ecosystem will benefit their business growth”.
The evening event will aim to highlight the opportunity for both ecosystems to collaborate and the wider benefit for startups to reach out to neighbouring and partnering tech startup ecosystems, with Startacus planning to invite key personnel from the Dublin ecosystem to the event, both in the audience and as part of short panel discussions.
Alongside the showcasing opportunity, any startup founders interested in the Dublin ecosystem who are from NI are encouraged to attend the event. They will get the chance to connect with Dublin startups and key Dublin startup champions and free tickets to attend the event can be booked here.
NI startups who are interested in showcasing at the 24th October 2019 event should email Alastair alastair@startacus.net by 1st October, explaining what benefit showcasing at the event in Dublin would offer their business.
The 3 hour evening event is part of Techstars Startup Week Dublin powered by Dublin City Council and further details on the event agenda and showcasing startups will be announced over the coming weeks.
