NI Startup Zone at Digital DNA set to be Expo, Showcase and Networking hub.

by Startacus Admin
Dedicated zone at Digital DNA to provide opportunities for NI startups to showcase, network and engage with an array of startup champions, industry experts and brands.
There's just under 2 weeks to go until the 10th annual Digital DNA! An estimated 2500+ visitors will come together at St George’s Market, Belfast on 14th and 15th June for Northern Ireland’s leading tech and digital event.
Attendees will have the opportunity to hear thought-provoking talks from some of the brightest minds in the tech industry and will have access to workshops and sessions on everything from AI, FinTech and CyberSecurity through to Robotics, MedTech and the Future of Work.
And this year, Startacus is thrilled to be hosting the upStart Showcase area at Digital DNA - a dedicated zone for showcasing NI startups and leading organisations engaged in supporting early-stage companies, to gather together, start conversations and create meaningful new connections.
Kindly sponsored by Raise Ventures, SeedLegals, Tughans, Belfast Met and Glandore, the startup zone will feature an expo area where 10+ tech startups from across Northern Ireland will showcase their innovative products and businesses, a networking area for startups to connect with like-minded startups and industry experts and a dedicated space for startups to meet, have 121s and engage with a host of startup champions, business mentors and brands.
Alastair Cameron, Co-Founder, Startacus said: “We are delighted to be putting together this startup zone at this year’s Digital DNA. Providing startups with the opportunity to showcase, interact and make connections is invaluable at events like this - from helping them to validate what they are doing and gain early adopters through to building those all-important networks.
Having the sponsors on board has enabled us to provide this space to startups for free and we are indebted to them for their generous support, commitment and collaborative approach.”
Over the course of the two days, startups that are showcasing as well as those simply popping into the startup zone can expect to meet with a whole array of business advisors, industry experts and startup advocates. More info on those networking opportunities and an agenda overview will be outlined before the event.
And speaking of networking, if you’re in the startup zone at 3.30pm on the 14th June, there’ll be an opportunity to grab a beer and do just that, all thanks to our generous sponsors Barclays Eagle Labs.
It’ll be the perfect place to meet before heading off on the Belfast Hub Crawl, the fab fringe event that’s being organised by Raise Ventures that’s taking place at the end of the first day. Tickets for the Hub Crawl can be booked now.
So, if you’re interested in being inspired by some of the most exciting early-stage tech startups in the region, making new connections and exploring all that the digital and tech ecosystem in NI has to offer, make sure to register for this year's Digital DNA Belfast and of course visit and support the upStart Showcase area while you are there!
