NI Propel Pre-Accelerator countdown begins

by Startacus Admin

If you are an early-stage startup or entrepreneur based in Northern Ireland, you better be quick if you want to apply for the next IGNITE lead Propel Pre-Accelerator programme.
With applications closing Friday 2nd November ‘18, we took a quick look over all the key details someone will need to know to apply.
Delivered by leading UK startup support programme and investment network, IGNITE, the Propel Pre-Accelerator programme offers early-stage startups and entrepreneurs, the opportunity for workshops, tutorials, networking, mentoring, financial support and access to investment - all with the ambition of helping turn your business concept into a world class and trading business.
IGNITE are on the hunt for entrepreneurs who are developing innovative new technology or product, or building a business using existing technology to disrupt traditional industries, with a passion to succeed on an international stage.
With the programme run over a 6 month period and space available for up to 20 entrepreneurs, IGNITE aims to help entrepreneurs build a business that has rapid scaling potential, can achieve significant export growth and secure external investment.
Support also includes £15k if you are selected onto the programme and up to 12 months free co-working space at Ormeau Baths, one of Belfast’s leading startup hubs.
Only six weeks or so ago, Startacus attended the showcase pitch event for the first cohort of the Propel pre-accelerator programme. With Video First, who offer automated video user interface testing, INCISIV, a company which use AI to provide insight into athletic performance and loyalty card app, loyalBe, the three winning startups from the evening awards (and to be fair some other top pitches), it is clear to see that this programme will create a legacy for NI based entrepreneurs and startups for years to come.
