What's life in a startup really like? Exciting? Inspiring? Terrifying? 
If you are thinking about turning your hand to a role within a startup, or indeed taking the plunge with a new business of your very own, your head is probably buzzing with questions about what it's really like. Luckily the folks over at NACUE (that's the National Association of College and University Entrepreneurs) have created an event that should help give you an idea of what it's all about, as well as some solid advice and creative inspiration.
Startup Career Launchpad
The clever clogs amongst you will have already deduced that this event is a launch pad for your startup career. Now an annual tradition, this day-long event is jam packed with all the essential advice and information you will need to get your startup career off the ground.
A selection of the country's most exciting and innovative entrepreneurs will be paying a visit to deliver talks on a huge range of startup related issues and to give you the inside scoop on what life in a startup is really like. Just a few of the speakers who will be there include; Hayley Conick, Country manager of Elance, Dominic Davies, founder of Backyard Cinema, Nic Jackson, Development manager of Digital Innovation and Kris Hallenga, Founder of Coppafeel.
As well as this extensive series of talks there will also be plenty of networking opportunities and a relaxed friendly atmosphere so you can absorb all of the inspiration and advice.
This year’s event will also play host to the #LivingLogo 3D Print Competition, which challenges you to design a functional object based on the logo of your company, but don't worry if you haven't got a company yet, as you can make one up! Expert judges will select the one they like best, and the living logo will then be 3D printed by iMakr. The winning team or person will head down to the iMakr Store, to witness the final stages of printing before collecting their freshly printed winning design!
