Moody Month - the femtech startup transforming healthcare for women

by Startacus Admin
Moody Month is a Femtech startup that’s transforming healthcare for women with its AI-driven app to connect users with personalised daily wellness solutions...
Launched just last year, Moody Month is a startup that’s on a mission to revolutionise wellness for women. They have created an app that uses AI to learn moods and cycles and to connect users with personalised daily wellness solutions.
The Moody Month app has been built by a UK team of female engineers and technicians. The business and tech has been built for women and by women. The company has a 100% ethical data policy and is building a community to empower women to come together to optimise their health.
Now, with the current pandemic, health tracking tech is now a key part of everyday health for over one million women and growing every day.
In fact, the Moody Month app has seen an increase of 86% in usage in the first two months of the pandemic, with two million logs recorded since March. The uptick in the health-tracking trend is holding long-term, and Moody Month’s user growth has increased consistently each month.
They have now just launched a £100k crowdfund with leading equity crowdfunding platform, Crowdcube, to build awareness and opportunity for users to be part of the growth and success of the Femtech business.
Amy Thomson Moody Month CEO and Co-Founder: “Moody Month was built to support women daily, we hadn’t predicted how quickly it would become an essential part of their at home health routines due to the pandemic. This is an exciting time for us to bring onboard both new users and new investors via our Crowdcube campaign”.
With Femtech spending forecast to reach a staggering £40BN by 2025, and in a marketplace saturated by fertility apps, Moody Month stands out as a complete at-home wellness product.
We reckon this innovative startup is most certainly one to watch!
