Moment Pebble - mindfulness made easy

by Startacus Admin
Mindfulness made easy thanks to recently launched startup Moment Pebble, who've created a tool that makes mindfulness accessible, quick and easy.

This simple thing can do a lot to promote a healthier mind and a more pleasant work day. The problem is being mindful of the need to be mindful. It’s too easy to get dragged into a mass of emails and calls and worries and forget all about taking a moment for yourself.
This is exactly the problem that Moment Pebble’s co-founders Alex and Charlie were experiencing when they came up with the idea for their product. The Moment Pebble is a simple and elegant reminder to take that moment and just be.
As well as being a tangible reminder, the pebble gives you something to follow to remain in the moment and to calm down. All you need to do is turn it over and it will activate, gently glowing. Breathe deeply in and out with the glow to relax, stimulating the vagus nerve, which activates the parasympathetic nervous system, lowering stress, and reducing heart rate and blood pressure. Simply do this for 30 seconds, and the pebble will glow brightly and for longer to signal the end of your 30-second moment. Then you can return to work, calmer and refreshed, and with increased cognitive ability.
Although the Moment Pebble can last up to 2 months without being recharged, the charging stone that comes with it serves to make it more aesthetically pleasing, so you will likely find yourself placing the pebble back on this stone after every use to complete the elegant, ornamental look to your desk. Simple yet powerful, we want a boxful.
