Mi-IDEA Manchester looks for disruptive startups

by Startacus Admin

Smart Cities, IoT, Digital Health, Digital Creative & Digital Tech Startups take note - this Manchester evening meetup on 26th April, will give you all the key info you need to know about the Manchester based MI-IDEA post accelerator programme, the details on how to apply and the opportunity to meet other like minded startups in your industry.
Last September we reported that the teams from CISCO and Manchester Science Partnership had teamed up to create Mi-IDEA, a post-accelerator designed to foster and nurture digital innovation in the North West of England.
Mi-IDEA is an innovation centre located at the heart of Manchester Science Park, where startups can find one-to-one support, mentorship and go to market strategy for disruptive technology companies. The flexible programme works around your needs and you won’t hand over any equity.

Their latest networking event – at HOME in Manchester on 26th April from 6pm – is your chance to find about more about the programme. The Head of Innovation for Cisco UK & Ireland, Tom Kneen, will share his insights into the fab stuff you can get involved in with Cisco and MSP. You’ll get answers to your burning questions around turning your great idea into a thriving business. Well-networked people from Cisco, MSP and their partners will also be on hand to help you with your business. And you’ll meet other start ups in your field who can give you the lowdown on the benefits of joining Mi-IDEA.
This is the last round of applications before the new centre formally opens in June, so if you want to be in the opening cohort, this event is a fab chance to not only find out more about the programme, but to chit-chat with the team directly about the opportunity.
Spaces are limited so it’s best register now to avoid disappointment and more good news...drinks and nibbles will be provided.
So, startups, join Cisco & Manchester Science Partnerships on 26th April to find out how your startup can scale up with the Mi-IDEA Centre.
