MeWe360 to offer up to 10k to a Northern based Creative Entrepreneur
Here at Startacus we do love to spread word on competitions that look to support untapped entrepreneurial and creative talent. So if you are a ‘creative’ or ‘arts’ based entrepreneur in the ‘North of England’, read on...
MeWe360, a charitable organisation tasked with identifying and nurturing “untapped” talent in the arts and creative industries, have recently launched a competition to find the best ‘creative industry entrepreneurs in the North of England. These entrepreneurs will be given the opportunity to win up to £10,000 worth of investment in their business or business idea.
Applicants, who must be 18 years of age and older, can already have an established creative or arts based business or just have a strong creative business idea. In the opening application round, interested entrepreneurs will need to submit both an application form and short pitch video to be considered for the shortlist, with successful entrants then taking part in live pitches in front of a judging panel in the New Year.
A guaranteed £5k is in the bag for the winning entrepreneur, but MeWe360 have committed to extending this to £10k if the winning pitch wows the judges.
MeWe360 aims to find, develop and invest in “untapped talent” so that entrepreneurs, from all backgrounds, can develop thriving creative businesses, and with all competition applicants automatically given MeWe360 Associate Network Membership (worth £175 annually and access to events and our London space) this sounds like a fab opportunity.
For the full criteria, T&Cs and what classifies a creative industries’ sector business click here and to make things ultra handy we’ve even attached a direct link to the application page too (we’re good like that!)
Closing date for submissions to enter round one is 5pm on the 2nd December 2016 and good luck to all that apply.
