MassChallenge is Coming to Switzerland
Our friends over at MassChallenge have just announced the latest European location to be added to their growing global presence will be Switzerland!
MassChallenge has its roots in Boston Massachusetts, where it operates the World’s largest accelerator programme, but in recent times they have begun to branch out to other promising locations, including their well publicised and highly successful move into London in the second half of 2015.
MassChallenge has a rather interesting approach to delivering accelerator programmes, requiring no equity from its startups but still providing free resources and opportunities to help ambitious, high-growth potential startups to expedite their expansion.

MassChallenge Switzerland which will be located within the Lake Geneva Region of the country with the launch of the accelerator planned for June 2016.
The CEO of MassChallenge Mr John Harthorne is very much looking forward to this new European addition to the network, praising Switzerland's track-record as a ‘well established leader for innovation and industry’. He went on to say 'Launching a new accelerator in Switzerland that is connected with our other global hubs will dramatically expand the open innovation, collaboration and entrepreneurial ecosystem in Switzerland, as well as greatly enhance the MassChallenge network in Europe'
The Accelerator will be open to Startups from accross Switzerland, Europe, and indeed across the world!
Everyone at Startacus HQ is very pleased that the MassChallenge unique brand of accelerator continues to go from strength-to-strength, and look forward to seeing what talent they manage to unearth at their new Swiss home!
