Marko Srsan, Program Director at Techstars, chatted to Startacus, about what Techstars look for in startups when shortlisting for their programs, the impact (or not) of BREXIT on UK startups and why corporates choose to collaborate with startups.
Techstars helps entrepreneurs succeed. Through the Techstars Worldwide Entrepreneur Network, founders and their teams connect with other entrepreneurs, experts,mentors, alumni, investors, community leaders, and corporate partners who will help their companies grow. Techstars operates four divisions: Techstars Startup Programs, Techstars Mentorship-Driven Accelerator Programs, Techstars Corporate Innovation Partnerships, and the Techstars Venture Capital Fund.
To date, Techstars accelerator portfolio includes more than 1,000 companies with a market cap of $8.1 billion!
Marco Srsan joined Techstars as an Associate in the London Winter 2014 program, became a Program Manager and successfully led Techstars London 2015, 2016 and 2017 cohorts and recently became the program director for London. Here, Marco speaks to us at this years Digital DNA, where Startacus were hosting the upSTART startup pitch competition and Marco was a Judge.
