What's that you say? You’d love to win a free media pass to the MADE2014 festival? Then you’ve come to the right place, because we’ve got one such pass to give away!
Always the ones to encourage ‘outside of the box’ style thinking, we reckon that it could be smashing fun to get one of you lovely Startacus members to pay a visit to the MADE2014 festival in Sheffield and then share the experience with all your fellow self starters in our community.
An excellent idea, if we do say so ourselves, since it will mean that our members will get to hear all about the experience of the festival from the perspective of a typical visitor, and not just from us!
What is MADE2014?
We’re sure you already know, but we will tell you again anyway.
MADE is the UK’s leading business and Entrepreneurial event and aims to showcase, explore and inspire entrepreneurialism by bringing together inventors, designers, manufacturers, business owners, and budding entrepreneurs in a wide range of events across the city of Sheffield.
This year is shaping up to be the most inspiring yet with a huge host of events crammed into just a couple of days. You can find out exacty what will be happening by paying a visit to the festival website but here’s a little taster of what our winner has to look forward to;
- Fab guest speakers including Levi Roots, Doug Richard, Paul McKenna and Jamal Edwards
- Over 3000 businesses in attendance
- Expert advice on marketing, crowdfunding, leadership and management, business finance, business law, tax, digital marketing and starting a business.
- A huge host of interesting original fringe events covering all things entrepreneurial
- Fantastic opportunities to socialise, network and have some great fun!
How can you win this amazing prize?
It’s devilishly simple to be in with a chance to win this marvellous prize. All we ask is;
- That you are a Startacus member (If you aren’t you can sign up for free)
- That you are free to travel to Sheffield on at least one of the festival dates (24th - 26th September)
- That you will write a few short articles about the experience, to be completed within a week of the festival
