Looking for an Innovation Voucher? This might help...

by
Startacus makes no bones about it - we like free stuff! After all, who doesn’t? And free stuff is just what is up for grabs via the Technology Strategy Board’s new Innovation Vouchers scheme. The Vouchers offer support for business ideas related to the areas of agri-food, built environment and space sectors. Unfortunately on this occasion, as much as we love food, chilling outside nice looking buildings and looking in wonder at the skies above, this will not bag us the Innovation Vouchers. There’s a little more to it than that...Interested yourself? Read on to find out more...
Launched just this week by the Technology Strategy Board, this new national innovation voucher scheme is aimed at encouraging smaller businesses to work with external experts, gaining new knowledge to help their businesses innovate, develop and grow. The Vouchers are specifically for ideas related to the sectors of Agrifood, Built Environment and Space and will award up to £5,000 for a business to obtain the help of an external expert to develop ideas and improve performance, and up to £8000 for space ideas (man).
Bearing in mind this is an Innovation Voucher, it doesn’t take too much rocket fuel to work out that your idea must offer an innovative approach to a specific problem or challenge. Check out the small print and full detail over at the Technology Strategy Board site.
100 Vouchers will be awarded every three months, from a draw made from all successful entries, so Startacus suggests you take a look sooner rather than later if you have an idea on how these vouchers could help your business innovate, develop and grow.
Good luck!
