Le Web is the leading European tech conference, bringing together thought leaders and entrepreneurs from many of the world's top technology companies. This year, the London leg, happening on June 5th and 6th, will focus on the New Sharing Economy, also commonly known as “collaborative consumption”.
As Le Web’s press release explains: “This movement represents a major economic, social and cultural shift and is redefining the ways goods and services are exchanged, valued and created. We will explore the economics of the sharing economy movement and why it might mean the end of consumerism, as we know it. The sharing economy is entirely based on new communities forming with new values and LeWeb London will bring the most breakthrough communities to the stage.”
So when we got contacted a few weeks back by Le Web we were pretty chuffed - after all Startacus’ own platform offers you the chance to take that business idea and work alone, or seek and collaborate with others in your own virtual creative workspace. (tick - shameless plug done!) Never mind though, it was via Le Web sales team to see if we wanted to purchase tickets - at least it meant we were on the radar!
With lots of demos, discussions and on stage presentations focusing on the New Sharing Economy with the thought leaders and key players shaping the sharing movement, this is a major player of a conference aiming to get a better understanding of the value of the New Sharing Economy and what it could mean for us all.
You never know, we may see you there - we do after all take last minute guest speaker requests very seriously!
