L Marks Seeking Startups and Scaleups for Sodexo Healthcare and Seniors Accelerator

by Startacus Admin
Sodexo and L Marks open call for applications from innovative startups and scaleups to join their inaugural Sodexo Healthcare and Seniors Accelerator.
Startup or scaleup with an innovative solution that could benefit the healthcare or senior living sectors? This is for you!
Sodexo, the leading food and facilities management partner to thousands of healthcare and senior living communities across the U.S., has partnered with innovation specialists L Marks to launch the Sodexo Healthcare and Seniors Accelerator.
Sodexo’s Accelerator innovation programs have already been successful across seven regions globally and most recently the company partnered with L Marks on the Sodexo Live! Accelerator. This new Accelerator further strengthens the company’s passion and commitment to driving innovation.
The Sodexo Healthcare & Seniors Accelerator will provide participating startups with the opportunity to receive mentoring and work closely with senior industry executives and subject matter experts over a 10-week period in order to trial and fine-tune their innovative solutions in a live environment. They will have the opportunity to test their future-facing solutions at some of the country’s top hospitals, healthcare systems, and senior living communities.
Furthering Sodexo’s commitment to powering human care and elevating senior living, for this program, they are specifically seeking applications from startups and scaleups that offer solutions tailored to one of these three key business goals:
Employee Experience
-
This is aimed at finding innovative tools and platforms that will help improve both the client and Sodexo employee experience, including solutions that can enhance their recruitment process, make training easier, increase retention and reduce burnout, in addition to innovative and new ways to improve communication and collaboration.
Patient & Resident Experience
-
Within this category, they are seeking new ways to empower their partners to help provide the next-generation experience in and beyond the four walls of their sites. From improving emotional and physical health and building trust in Sodexo, through to facilitating community socialization, and enhancing satisfaction.
Exceptional Foodservice
-
The focus here is on finding innovative solutions that enhance their current offerings and deepen their understanding of their customers' preferences and dietary needs. This could be anything from innovative menu and recipe building and clinical nutrition, through to physical delivery solutions that enhance convenience and safety.
Wildcard
-
As Sodexo works across multiple sectors of the health and care industry, for the Wildcard category, they are keen to find any innovative out-of-the-box solution that could help them deliver a better experience to their clients and consumers, from ways to improve sustainability and better utilize data, to new ways to improve the consumer experience.
Applications for the Sodexo Healthcare & Seniors Accelerator are now open, and must be submitted by June 19th 2023. For application feedback prior to submission, applicants are advised to finish their application by the 12th of June.
Shortlisted startups will be invited to pitch their innovative solutions to Sodexo Healthcare & Seniors management in late July. Successful pitches will then commence the 10-week programme and avail of the opportunity to work with Sodexo and L Marks to fine-tune their solutions and execute a pilot.
Further info on the program, the process and the benefits of taking part can be found on the Sodexo site.
Best of luck to all who apply!
