Kickstarter launches Designed by Artists

Kickstarter launches Designed by Artists - Artists and Community alike set to benefit from this new Kickstarter initiative...

They have just recently announced a brand new initiative, “Designed by Artists”. It is aimed at projects which aren’t simply focused on a distinct category, such as Design or Technology, but instead have a clearly defined objective to bring a community closer together - projects which therefore have more of a social focus. The initiative aims to raise the profile of these “cross-category projects” and do more to help ensure that the creatives behind them get all the support they need to bring them into reality.

Designed by Artists launches properly in just a couple of weeks’ time - when between October 15th and November 15th, Kickstarter will be proactively promoting and helping to elevate the relevant projects, via social media, newsletters and across their various promo channels.
If you therefore have an idea for a product that could help your community or bring it closer together in some way, now is the time to get on the case!
We can’t wait to see what creative and inspiring projects are launched via this initiative and of course what communities are supported.
Kickstarter - we doff our proverbial caps to you!
