Maximising your options
You must organise your objectives and consider whether a stand fulfils your objectives or do you need to build a higher profile? One easy way to boost your profile is to sponsor. You will have the opportunity to sponsor everything and I mean everything. Sponsor ranges from the lanyards and carrier bags, reception areas, the ‘You Are Here’ boards, seminar zones and car parks. Your organiser will help you with this and may even point out certain possibilities you have not have considered. However do not leave it too late to sponsor as a number of other businesses will be on the same thought.
Staff Agencies
Helping Hand
Staffing agencies are becoming very popular with exhibitors because of a number now specialise in providing temporary stand staff. This may be 
particularly beneficial if you are a smaller company with very few employees. As well as that they can be very useful even if you have enough staff with you as they know how to approach visitors professionally and act as ambassadors for your company.
Speaking Opportunities
Sink or Swim
Many events give exhibitors the opportunity to speak in seminar zones. They are proven to be very successful when the speaker is engaging, authoritative and credible. But on the other hand if your speaker is unsure then the audience will chew them up and spit them out without even thinking about it. Our advice would be unless you have the perfect confident speaker, stay well clear. The end of a presentation is often when questions and leads emerge. Make sure you have a planned strategy in place to direct interested listeners back to your stand without sounding too sales orientated.
