Irish Enterprise Event Gaeltech adds Rural Appeal

by Startacus Admin
Startup and Enterprise Events, Conferences and Festivals don’t just have to happen in the big cities you know.
Aiming to lead the way in bringing together Entrepreneurs, Startups and Self Starters and in a rural environment is Gaeltech 2015 a two day event which will be held in Gweedore, County Donegal, Ireland on the 4th and 5th of September 2015.
The event, organised by Donegal Startup and Business Founder Patrick Farren is aiming to bring top speakers and audience to a location that is generally more accessible and utilised by the local Startup Ecosystem in Donegal and to allow those top entrepreneurial speakers to share the methods and techniques which they used to become successful in their chosen fields.
Here at Startacus we are always keen to hear about places and spaces that are aiming to increase local engagement in entrepreneurial activity, remove startup barriers and generally bring something fresh to the general public so we're naturally delighted to give a shout out to this inaugural event.
Increasing entrepreneurial activity is currently a key talking point in the UK too with the recent news that the UK government had commissioned a review into entrepreneurial activity within disadvantaged communities which of course also must include self starters from rural areas that don’t find it so easy to access valuable support.
In Year 1 of Gaeltech (4th and 5th of September 2015) and for a small fee of €17 per ticket, attendees will be able to hear from leading Entrepreneurs such:
-
Colm Lyon – Sold his business in 2015 for €115 Million
-
Julie Sinnamon – CEO Enterprise Ireland
-
Donna Kennedy – Best Selling author and professional speaker
-
Pat Slattery – Entrepreneur and public speaker
-
Paul o’Mahony – “The pied piper of Social media”
-
Howard Chu – Software expert and developer
-
Moira Ni Ghallachoir – Donegal based entrepreneur
-
Andreas Vogel – Deputy CEO of Muintearas Teo.
