Investors WANTED to reject this Startup 100 times over

by Startacus Admin
Oh, those clever folk over at Thrive Map, they sure did get our attention.
When you hear that a startup is on a mission to gain 100 NO'S IN 1 MONTH from Investors you kind of want to read on - which is just what we did.

Thrive Map are on a mission to connect with 100 different suitable investors who despite having the capacity to invest in their business, just don't want to. They want every ‘NO’ and subsequent rejection to come with a reason why they just ain't good enough to gain seed funding. They have even set up a website www.100nos.com where they plead for rejections to be submitted. A clever move - for every rejection they receive, an extremely valuable lesson will be learnt as Investors have to submit the reason they are being rejected.
However, what’s perhaps more noteworthy, is the fact that apart from all the industry connections they make and subsequently learn from, chances are, this uber intelligent bootstrapping PR means that their pitch deck will soon be popping up and opened in many an investor's inbox. After all, getting the attention of investors can often be tough going - so their approach and direct to call-to-action, will at least gain the attention their startup deserves.
And it’s not all hot air. CHRIS PLATTS Talent Tech entrepreneur, and recovering recruitment consultant and MARK HLA a serial technical entrepreneur, who has also started and run multiple tech startups as CTO or CEO, are the founders of Thrive Map, a Recruitment / HR Tech startup which in essence is a software tool that predicts culture fit by measuring the way that people like to work.
And since launching their recruitment / HR tech startup they are doing pretty well - with early traction and revenue from enterprise customers, becoming MassChallengeUK and "The Pitch" 2016 finalists and now, they are currently Belron Drive accelerator finalists, with a demo day coming up at the end of June.
We like the innovative way they are showcasing their business, and we reckon, that with a little luck and perhaps after a few rejections, we will be reporting back over the coming weeks and months with positive news from team Thrive Map. Good work folks!
