International VC firm seek Irish Tech & Entrepreneurship Student for Internship

Irish students and graduates with a passion for Tech & Entrepreneurship, read on! This U.S. VC firm is on the hunt!
Leading international venture capital firm Polaris Partners are on the hunt for a student / graduate from Ireland for a ten week PAID summer internship in Boston. Yes, we repeat, PAID.
With offices in Boston, San Francisco, and Dublin, this is the first year that Polaris is undertaking this initiative which will offer the successful candidate the chance to work alongside the existing Polaris team within the areas of deal sourcing, portfolio company support, and relationship building.
With applications open to both Irish students and recent graduates with a strong interest in technology and entrepreneurship, they are also looking for applications that can demonstrate:

Tremendous intellectual curiosity and ability to aggressively pursue compelling investment opportunities

Independent self-starter with strong work ethic (right up Startacus’ street then!)

Demonstrated interest in and ability to understand market dynamics, competitive strategies, and business operations
-
Strong written and oral communication skills; quantitative and analytical proficiency
-
Comfort interacting with senior investment professionals
-
Basic accounting, financial, and Excel skills are a plus
Established in Dublin since 2011, Polaris Partners has a history of supporting the early stage ecosystem through both direct investment and the introduction of their early stage technology incubator and coworking space, Dogpatch Labs.
They are asking candidates to supply both a c.v. and a short video of 1- 3 minutes explaining why they would be interested in the opportunity. The application deadline is February 29, 2016.
