International Music Summit hunts for the next wave of innovative music startups

by Startacus Admin

Do you have a business or idea that could shape the future of the music industry or could change the future of electronic music? IMS Accelerator is a new programme from the International Music Summit that aims to spotlight and support the next wave of innovative music startups.
IMS Accelerator aims to give 3 successful music startups the chance to meet the most creative and influential industry figures in the electronic music scene, providing a golden opportunity to make one-on-one connections with IMS delegates.
The plan here, is to give the selected startups access to the iconic record label owners, artist managers, tech visionaries and the world’s biggest DJs that all appear under one roof at IMS. Three successful startup applicants will win ‘IMS Delegate Badges’ to IMS 2018 which is taking place on Wednesday 23rd – Friday 25th May at the Hard Rock Hotel in Ibiza, plus an assortment of other benefits and opportunities.
International Music Summit is an educational, inspirational and motivational thought leadership platform dedicated to creating and encouraging the awareness of, and appreciation for, electronic music, and the artistry related to DJing and related art forms - primarily through the presentation of summits and events that celebrate both the historic and ongoing contribution of the genre to culture worldwide.
IMS annually hosts major events globally in Ibiza, Los Angeles, China and Malta and was created by Ben Turner, Danny Whittle, Mark Netto, Pete Tong & Simeon Friend.
Ben Turner, IMS Co-Founder has this to say: “At the heart of IMS is the drive to be a catalyst in the industry, to bring about new ideas and develop new ways of working to push the genre forwards to guarantee a sustainable and successful future.
Going on to say that "...launching IMS Accelerator to support the tech community and start-up culture feels like the natural progression in our ongoing efforts to nurture the next generation. We look forward to hearing your ideas and solutions to help push the music industry forward."
So, if IMS Accelerator sounds like a good concept and you have an innovative idea to boot, then check out all the details, what's on offer to the three selected startups and how to apply, via the IMS ACCELERATOR landing page. Sounds like a plan.
