by Startacus Admin

Launch of new project management features enables Interior designers to say goodbye to old school manual admin.
Further innovation in the interior design industry with the news that eporta are launching a suite of revolutionary project management features.
Founded in 2015 by ex-Zoopla Strategy Director, Aneeqa Khan, the eporta online platform brings together global furniture manufacturers, interior designers, and latest technology all in one place, making it easier than ever for interior design professionals to deliver seamless projects.
The interior design industry has traditionally operated on legacy systems, manually updated spreadsheets, and black books with designers forging fragmented relationships with suppliers. It’s been therefore ripe for innovation. The startup has seen 200% growth year-on-year in new users since its launch and is backed by leading VC firms following its US-led $8M Series A in 2018.
eporta aims to be the easiest way to source products and manage interior design projects all in one place, giving designers the time, confidence and control to deliver projects.
A completely free service to use for interior designers, the new project management features incorporate everything from finding inspiration and sourcing products, through to creating a project schedule, client proposals, invoices, ordering, and payments, through an online cloud-based platform.
Commenting on the launch, Founder & CEO Aneeqa Khan said:
“We are excited to announce the launch of our new project management features. Our focus has been on creating intuitive features that make it easier for designers to deliver their complex projects. Working with the design community it was clear a solution that gave them more time and control running their projects and more confidence in the information they relied on was key.”
As Interior designer, Harriet Hughes, explains:
“eporta allows me to take projects from beginning to end. I can discover and source from new brands, easily request quotes, create invoices and pay through the platform. Managing everything in one place makes my life easier.”
It’s clear that eporta is going from strength to strength and that these new features will be thoroughly embraced by the design sector.
