Importwise - importation made easy

by Startacus Admin
Importwise - The lowdown on the startup that's making the entire importation process easier than ever before...

The documentation alone is a mess to keep track of. Isn’t it a surprise no one has come along yet to make the process easier?
Well, Northern Irish Importwise has come along to make the process easier! The startup claims that they have fixed importing and we can see why.
Starting with the aforementioned documentation. The simple document management system on the dashboard lets you access and manage decentralised documents such as manifests, waybills, bills of lading, insurance certificates, commercial invoices, and packing lists.
And what good would a dashboard be if you couldn’t access it from your phone wherever you are?
Importwise has a range of important, even vital, functions. You can stay on top of fluctuating market costs with the one-click landed cost factoring. You can track your shipment in real-time, with actual vessel location. You are always just a click away from Importwise’s global trade experts to optimise your supply chain, ensuring you expend the least amount of time and money possible. Manage quality control inspections from your dashboard.
The startup can even make sure that your shipments meet all specifications and Amazon’s procedures for shipping directly to a ‘Fulfilment by Amazon’ warehouse in the UK, Europe, or US. The list of features and benefits goes on.
Importwise was one of the startups to pitch at the Startacus hosted upSTART 2018 startup pitch event where they made it through to the final round. They have also made it through to the final of NI based Invent 2018, which will be held in October.
We would wish Importwise luck, but we don't think they will need it...
