Ideas Fund Innovators

by Startacus Admin
The latest round of IdeasTap ‘Ideas Fund Innovators Awards’ is currently open and with the aim to award 20 more creative projects with £500 it’s worth taking a gander if you have...unsurprisingly a creative project that needs some cash and you are resident in the UK.
Admittedly we do go on about these Ideastap folk a little here on Startacus, however the words awards, money and creative projects do often swing it for us.
With a closing date of Thursday 31 October 2013 at 5pm there is still time to enter this round of the Ideas Fund Innovators, but as this is an IdeasTap competition - who have an operational aim to support young UK creatives - there are some age restrictions to take note of.
The scheme supports creative projects from anyone aged 16 - 30 with 10 awards being given to those aged 16 - 22 years old and 10 awards being allocated to the 23-30 year old age bracket.
Of course, we’d love every feature we highlight on Startacus to be only based on the idea and not other factors, such as age and location etc, but as Ideastap was founded on the ideal of supporting young creatives, one can’t really complain, so fingers crossed the awards still apply to you.
Taken directly from the horse’s mouth (the IdeasTap website that is) they highlight that:
“In the past we've funded everything from dance and film projects to music videos and photography collectives. Whatever creative field you work in, we'll consider your application..
We're looking for projects that are inspiring, original, innovative and that we think you can realistically deliver. We'll be inviting a panel of expert judges to pick their favourites.”
And there’s not much more to say on the matter, apart from to reiterate that they are looking for innovative and creative ideas to support.
Of course, there are the usual terms and conditions to read over - 31 plus points to read + other small details, and as the closing date is fast approaching - if you are keen to be considered take a look at the details. As separate links exist for the aged 16-22 and 23-30 age group we have handily added them in too.
And good luck to ya all that apply!
