iContract raises over £800k to help contractors connect with recruiters

by Startacus Admin
iContract, the online platform connecting contractors with recruiters, closed its latest round of
investment a couple of weeks back - after successfully raising over £800,000.
With a pre-money valuation of £3,000,000, the campaign attracted direct investment from long-term strategic investors, as well as 200+ small-sized investors from its own community via the crowdfund platform Seedrs - which we had also reported about previously.
iContract connects professional contractors with recruiters and employers for job matching and professional networking. iContract already has a community of over 6,500 contractors and over 600 recruiters, and the fund raise will help scale-up the iContract team and enhance the development of their online platform.
The platform’s vision is to disrupt the contractor-recruiter market and create a world-wide community that enables contractors to manage their working lives more efficiently, connect and engage with peers, and ultimately bring about a more positive work-life balance for contractors.
Currently a free service for both contractor and recruiter users, the iContract team will implement its monetisation strategy in the coming months, with a number of prospective clients already keen to continue their commitment to the company. Established 'by contractors for contractors', iContract aims to be not just another jobs board, offering a one-stop shop where contractors can take control of their work-life balance.
Best wishes going forward iContract and congrats on the successful round of investment.
